Deborah has been writing in journal since she was 8 years old and has kept every one of them for 40 plus years.

Deborah in 2019 decided to take her passion of writing to the next level by publishing her first book Fully Surrendered and 4 months later Colorful. She recently completed her third book Beyond The Limits scheduled to be released in 2020.

Deborah’s passion as a Woman, Wife, and Mother comes through all her writings to assist and change the lives of every person she touches.

Literary Coaching

So you have a brilliant idea for a manuscript. Congratulations! But where do you go now?

Literary coaching is a flexible concept-to-completion service where author and editor work together over the course of an established time frame to create an edited manuscript. A potential work plan, for example, may take place over six months with monthly meetings with the editor for guidance and editing. In the end, the author will have a complete, edited manuscript.

Literary coaching is especially helpful for:

Expanding an idea into a book

Setting writing goals and completion deadlines

Overcoming writer's block

Helping new writers find their voice

When the manuscript is complete, we will discuss the various publication options. If submitting to a traditional publisher, you will be given a list of presses looking for your type of material and how they like to be approached. If self-publishing looks like the best avenue, you will be presented with a list of printers, designers, typesetters, and publicists to have on your team (in some cases, a self-publishing press may offer some or all of these services).

When I am working in a group setting – although it’s not singular in nature – having the entire group’s input in thinking magnifies the richness of the discussions and results in developing solutions that are above and beyond what any individual can create. The cohesive bond that is formed empowers each person to develop the leader within and shine in a safe environment that nurtures the group as a whole. It is an experience unlike any other and follows the same premise as an academic think tank.
